HGAP - Homeless Grant Assistance Program |
Housing First for Yakima County Program Purpose is to provide low-barrier transitional housing with support services & comprehensive case management to for up to 87 single homeless adults & youth a year. This program reaches out to homeless individuals living on the streets or leaving institutions, assess their needs, & work to move them directly into private market housing units. In addition, six beds will be reserved for respite care for homeless participants with medical conditions requiring specialized care. Tenants are required to pay 30% of their monthly income. |
