PCAP Advocate – CDAC – Full Time (1)

Responsible for managing a case load of 15-20 clients by providing direct outreach, home visitation case management, and advocacy services to high-risk mothers who have used alcohol and/or drugs heavily during pregnancy, and to her child(ren), partners, and extended families when needed. Qualified candidates must desire to be a part of a team, be eager to learn, have the ability to multitask and work under stressful situations with minimum supervision, must be able to maintain a good rapport with clients, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), must be self-motivated and have the ability to complete duties while demonstrating a professional demeanor at all times. Sample duties: Assist clients in setting goals based on her individual needs assessment; Collect client data to enter into PCAP website; Identify high-quality community providers and agencies whose services are relevant to client needs; Administer clinical assessment instruments dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information. Applicants must have an AA in Chemical Dependency or related field and 2 years of similar community-based work experience or equivalent. A valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, TB test, and First Aid/CPR, and food handler's card are required.

 

 

Lead Teacher (Pre-Kinder Room) – Kids Inc – Full Time (1)

Assist with giving high-quality services to families by providing a healthy and safe environment for the children at our Kids Inc Childcare Center. Qualified candidates must desire to be a part of a team, be eager to learn, have the ability to multitask and work under stressful situations with minimum supervision, must be able to maintain a good rapport with families and children, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), must be self-motivated and have the ability to complete duties while demonstrating a professional demeanor at all times. Sample duties: Preparing lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum books; Working with the Director and the QRIS coach on improving quality of care fusing funding from the Seeds of Success grant; Working with parents on preparation for kindergarten; Introduce children to pre-math, pre-reading and science/health activities; Using ASQ's to assess individual children's strengths and areas of improvement; Guiding daily activities to relate to weekly themes; Prepare educational field trips; Use positive discipline. Applicants must have experience working with children and STARS training is preferred. A valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, TB test, and First Aid/CPR, and food handler's card are required.

 

 

Cook – Roosevelt Place – P/T (1)

Assist with providing nutritious meals and snacks for women and children on Triumph Campus and for children at Kids Inc Childcare Center. Qualified candidates must desire to be part of a team, be eager to learn, have the ability to multitask and work under stressful situations with minimum supervision in a high volume kitchen, must be able to maintain a good rapport with patients, have good communication skills (both written and verbal), must be self-motivated, have the ability to complete duties while demonstrating tolerance for other departments, and must be flexible to meet changing tasks and work schedules. Sample duties: Plan, prepare, cook and serve nutritious, appealing meals; Properly follow the designated menu and recipes; Properly preserve and store food; Maintain a clean kitchen. Applicants must have food handling experience. A valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, TB test, and First Aid/CPR, and food handler's card are required.

 

 

Support Staff – Triumph Campus – On Call (2)

Assist in providing a healthy and safe environment for women in a residential recovery environment. This is accomplished by consistent follow through with policy and procedures and demonstrating a caring attitude. Qualified candidates must desire to be part of a team, be eager to learn, have the ability to multitask and work under stressful situations with minimum supervision, must be able to maintain a good rapport with patients, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), must be self-motivated, have the ability to complete duties while demonstrating tolerance for other departments, and must be flexible to meet changing tasks and work schedules. Sample duties: tracking inventory, routine facility checks, and advocating/helping patients, transporting patients, office duties, documenting observations, observing and documenting medication, provide mothers/child with age appropriate activities, teaching redirections skills, provide individual or group childcare and supervising visitation. Must be available nights and weekends. A valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, TB test, and First Aid/CPR, and food handler's card are required.
